Facts about Taste of Klamath:
The 15th Annual Taste of Klamath is on Saturday, May 20, 2017
This is the PERFECT event for you to get your food & drink (not to mention your business name) into the mouths of over 500 local and visiting guests! Plus proceeds from Taste of Klamath go to benefit the RRT Scholarship program for low-income families and other educational activities. So it's win-win.
Speaking of winning... we have four categories for competition, Best Bite (food), Best Buzz (drink), Best Dessert and People's Choice. The first three are chosen by professional culinary tasters, the latter is chosen by Taste of Klamath attendees. Winners receive recognition with the Herald and News, space on a house ad in the 2016-17 RRT playbill, an plaque to proudly display and industry bragging rights!
The cost for vendors is $50 and is open to local and regional caterers, restaurants, bakeries, breweries, wineries, and more from Southern Oregon or Northern California.
All vendor participants will be responsible for:
- Contributing 2-3 samples of your culinary or beverage specialties for each of 500-700 guests
- Providing adequate staffing for the event from 4:30 until 8 p.m.
- Providing an accurate list of table, linen, electrical & any other facility needs
- The RRT will provide one 8ft table and the linen for it. If you have further needs, you will need to inform us of them and supply them yourself as early as possible on the day of the event.
You can sell wares at the event – however they cannot be consumed at the event. Gift certificates or packaged goods are great options. Or just bring coupons! Anything that will drive customers back to your business after the event is over!
